As you drivers know over the last few weeks we have been getting your feedback for an endurance series, well…. here it is! We’ve listened to everyone in the community and worked out a series that we think you will all love!
Some of the key points for you:
We have categorised every single driver in a license category of A, B, C or D, which means we can have pro-am teams! The idea here is to keep the teams fair, A and B license drivers (classed as Pro) May only team up with a C or D license driver. C or D license drivers (AM class) May team up with other C or D class drivers to make a team, they will then be in the running for a B championship as well as the overall. You can find your license rating on the RTA website in the license section of your profile.
The races are 90 minutes long and will take place every Tuesday between the last round of one series and the first of the next, see Endurance series group page for calendar dates and tracks. The championship will run from the first race of the season until the last possible race of the year, the championship will end before the 31st of December each year and start again as soon as the first season of the next year is over.
You can read all the details on the series in the document attached to our discord, including the car types eligible etc.
Entries are made via the endurance series team entry form under the series tab on www.rtavirtualmotorsport.com and only one entry is required per team.
We hope you are going to be happy with this!
